We secured a $1,000 youth Grant from the Greene County Legislature for the Town of Windham to be used for the Windham Skateboard Park.

We've helped raise several thousand dollars towards the VFW Post 1545's efforts to acquire $80,000 for Phase I of its renovation project

We awarded six outstanding Windham Citizens with Community Recognition Awards at the Civil War Heritage Concert at the Windham Civic Center.

We're sponsoring the third Annual "Wreath Contest and "Holiday Concert" in December

Greene Room Players’ Founder and Executive Director Linda Nichols thanks Community of Windham Foundation Treasurer Mike Avella for the COWF’s contribution of $3,000 towards the Greene Room Players 2006 Annual Holiday Concert at the Windham Civic Centre. The COWF has awarded this popular and talented local arts group an additional $3,000 towards this year’s annual holiday concert.

Thanks to a Main Street Revitalization Grant from the Catskill Watershed Corporation, the Community of Windham Foundation was able to award $20,000 in matching funds to Mary and Paul Schoepe of Fitness Concepts to renovate the former Hensonville UM Church into a state-of-the-art health fitness studio.
The Community of Windham Foundation awarded $1,250 to the Windham Community Food Pantry for a new sign to match the already-existing elegant sign at their location at the Hope Restoration Church on Route 296.

Thanks to the generosity of its donors and the hard work of skateboarders and their families, the Community of Windham Foundation was able to award $20,000 to the Town of Windham to support the creation of the Skateboard Park at Windham Mountain.
