How your donation makes a difference
Every contribution moves us closer to permanent protection for Maple Grove Park. Here is exactly where your dollars go:
- $50 funds an hour of expert legal counsel reviewing the city development proposal.
- $150 pays for native plant restoration across a quarter-acre of degraded meadow.
- $500 covers an environmental impact study for one section of the park.
- $1,000 sponsors a community meeting - venue, materials, and outreach to mobilize hundreds of neighbors.
No donation is too small. Every signature, every dollar, and every shared story strengthens our case before the city council on July 14.
A community-led plan, ready to act
This is not a protest. It is a plan. Over the past six months, our coalition of biologists, urban planners, attorneys, and lifelong residents has assembled a complete preservation proposal - one that protects the park's ecosystem, maintains public access, and even strengthens the city's tax base through eco-tourism and community programming. We will present this proposal at the July 14 council session. With your support, we will arrive with the resources, the research, and the unified voice we need to win.
